2015 was a very successful year for IGK Juniors (13-17 years old) in the national and international arena. Ediz Kemaloglu and Alihan Afsar, who were our junior members, started playing in the adult category this year, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their contributions to the Junior Team and for representing IGK in the Turkish National team. I wish them continued success.

Alp Atabek and Derin Serbetcioglu, in the same age group of IGK, are continuing their education in the U.S. They have successfully represented Istanbul Golf Club in many past tournaments, and I would like to thank them for their wonderful performance as well.

In 2014, there were 12 participants in the Under-12 category. Currently nine of these players are competing in the T.G.F Little Stars League. All of our members in the Under-12 category have played in all our sponsored tournaments and will continue to do so in the upcoming years.

Istanbul Golf Club's goal is to make golf enjoyable for young beginners so that they love the game as much as we do. Our aim is to teach these young minds the rules of the game and show them how to be _ part of a team.

IGK’s Junior training programs are implemented by our Head Pro Andrew McNabola and Club Pro Savas Karatas. In addition, there are monthly Under-12 training programs in Nakkastepe. We continue to organize golf camps in Antalya during the spring and summer breaks as well.
